Corrie Bond
Local flautist coming back
for a return engagement on
September 6

Corrie Bond has performed at the German Embassy, the National Building
Museum and flute conventions at the regional and national levels.
She is graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Master of Music
degree in flute performance and holds a Bachelor of Music degree
from James Madison University. She has most recently been involved
in SCORE, the education outreach program sponsored by the Fairfax
Symphony. She has performed with the Ashlawn Opera Festival
and Columbia Flute Choir as well as the masterclasses of Ervin Monroe,
Julius Baker, Bart Feller, Trevor Wye, Bradley Garner, and Alexa
Still. Principal teachers include Julia Bogorad-Kogan, Beth Chandler,
and Alice Weinreb. Corrie can be heard playing with the choirs at
St. Andrew the Apostle and Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
